They’re trying to keep me locked up,
Locked up away from you my Lord.
It seems that the harder I try,
I just fall even harder.
But it is you, who say
That you’ll catch me when I fall.
It is you, who says
That when I can’t walk anymore,
You will carry me.
It seems hopeless for my family in my eyes,
But I am just looking at the situation,
Through mere human eyes.
You have a plan.
A perfect plan that only I can do.
You have a reason for everything,
I may be locked up physically,
But that is okay.
No matter how hard they try,
I will never be locked up spiritually.
No matter how hard they try,
They can’t keep me away from you.
